The function of the screw machine suction filter is to filter out impurities such as dust, welding slag, iron filings, and oxide scales from the gas entering the compressor, preventing foreign objects from entering the main engine and causing rotor bite and bearing wear, thereby protecting the main engine.

🛡️ core function
1. Protecting the host: The internal rotor clearance of the screw machine only allows particles within 15 microns to pass through, and the suction filter can intercept hard particles larger than 15 microns to avoid damage to the rotor, bearings, and oil seals.
2. Ensure system cleanliness: The filtered clean gas enters the compression chamber, reducing impurities from contaminating the lubricating oil, oil filter element, and oil gas separation element, and extending the lifespan of these components.
3. Maintain operational efficiency: prevent impurities from accumulating and causing a decrease in compression efficiency, an increase in exhaust temperature, and avoid faults such as high-temperature shutdown.

⚠️ Maintenance points
-Inspection cycle: The new machine is checked for the first time after 500 hours of operation, and then checked every 2000 to 3000 hours thereafter.
-Replace hard indicators: When the pressure difference between the front and rear exceeds 0.3BAR, it must be cleaned or replaced, regardless of whether it is time or not.
